These are described on our Whats New page. <br /><br />Tcl/Tk 8.3 is the previous stable version of Tcl/Tk. It is a battle-tested version that has been in use for years. <br /><br />The Tcl/Tk Web browser plugin provides an easy alternative to Java programming for client-side web applications. The plugin leverages Safe-Tcl to provide a secure environment to run downloaded &quot;Tclets&quot;. <br /><br />Tcl and Tk are open source and their ongoing development is a collaboration between engineers at ActiveState and others in the Tcl user community.
