IBM TS3310的问题

今天到客户处，他的TS3310报错：

分别是Tape Alert 31/32。

查询operator guide，31是 Hardware B(set when the tape drive fails its internal Power-On Self Test);32是Interface(set when the tape drive detects a problem with the SCSI Fibre Channel,or RS-422) interface.


Action:当然是Contact IBM Technical Support了。

但也比较奇怪的，因为之前是没有问题的，就在把3310调电重启一次后就报错了。有可能是driver的问题，因为连接到driver上的光纤在fibre switch上的状态灯现在是有问题的。

另外一个问题：

当要配置Cleaning Slot时，提示说没有可用的slot。

进入IO Station配置时，发现由于已经配置了一个Logical Library，所以在删除Logical Library前都无法操作Slot的分配。

Logical Library不是预期要配置的(也搞不清楚是那个人做的了)，但客户担心删除Logical Library会影响TSM使用。

请教各位老大有没有好的建议，谢谢。

主要是第二个问题，logical library也不知道是那个家伙配上的，或者就是自动配置的？但目前没有办法释放出slot，所以没办法配置cleaning slot。头痛。

可能是drive出问题了

3310只玩过几次，好像起码要有一个logcial lib的吧，还是问问ibm吧

drive的问题已经报修了800，会过来解决。

logical library的问题正在查找文档。

TS3310在从工厂出厂的时候，会被创建一个logical library.这个logical library中将不会包含任何的cleaning cartridge slot.这个时候如果你想要添加cleaning cartridge slot的数量，会发现根本没法选择cleaning cartridge slot的数量.cleaning cartridge slot 的数量在logical library已经创建的情况下，是没有办法被改变的.第一步，你需要删除logical library。第二步，添加 cleaning cartridge的数量，注意，这个时候调节的整个library system 的cleaning cartridge 数量。第三步，重新创建logical library，注意在这个时候选择cleaing cartridge slot的数量，数量的最大值将会是 library system 的 cleaning slot。
