Software Engineer Trainee ?C Shanghai Office
Trainees will have the opportunity to learn about and participate in many parts of the overall software development process. Trainees will learn how commercial software companies design, implement, validate, release, and support software products that must serve the needs of many customers operating in various parts of the world and using multiple operating system platforms.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science from a major university
- High marks in the following courses:
o Data structures & algorithms
o Database management systems
o Software engineering
o Compiler design
o Object oriented programming
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Chinese or English)
- Hard working and eager to learn
- Work experience with technologies such as Java, .Net/Windows, C/C++, Linux, or Solaris is desirable but not required.
Software Engineer ?C Shanghai Office
Software engineers will work with Augmentum management, Augmentum US technical leadership, and Augmentum customers to design, implement, validate, release, and support a variety of software products driven by Augmentum customers.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science from a major university
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Chinese or English)
- Hard working and eager to learn
- 1-2 years of real world working experience (not self taught) with one or more of the following technologies:
o Java (EJB/J2EE, servlets, JSP, Struts, Swing, etc…)
o C/C++
o Windows (Win32, .Net, VC++, VB, VBA, ASP, ADO, C#)
o UNIX (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, IBM-AIX)

Senior Software Engineer ?C Shanghai office
Senior software engineers will work with Augmentum US technical leadership and Augmentum customers to architect and design solutions for a variety of software products. They will also help implement key complex portions of software and lead/train the software engineers and trainees. They will also be responsible for conducting design and code reviews to ensure the overall quality of software being developed. Lastly, key senior software engineers will travel to North America to work directly with customers to facilitate effective technical knowledge transfer to ensure high productivity.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science from a major university
- Possess excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Hard working and eager to learn
- Demonstrated technical leadership ability in a large complex software project
- 4-7 years of real world working experience (not self taught) with one or more of the following technologies:
o Java (EJB/J2EE, servlets, JSP, Struts, Swing, etc…)
o C/C++
o Windows (Win32, .Net, VC++, VB, VBA, ASP, ADO, C#)

Software development managers will manage projects and personnel for customer Augmentation teams. Responsibilities include clarification of requirements, training and caring of technical employees, project management plan creation and execution, and recruiting. Lastly, key software development managers will travel to North America to work directly with customers to facilitate effective technical knowledge transfer and develop organizational and logistics plans to ensure high productivity.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science from a major university
- Possess excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Hard working and eager to learn
- Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- 1-2 years experience managing development teams between 5-40 in size
- Experience with recruiting, hiring, and the complete employee lifecycle
- Experience interacting with customers on requirements gathering/clarification
- 1-2 years of real world working experience (not self taught) with one or more of the following technologies:
o Java (EJB/J2EE, servlets, JSP, Struts, Swing, etc…)
